The Bible Study Workbook - “Getting to Know Jesus – Part II” – His Ministry” reminds us that it is very exciting to get to know Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.  He is the one that God sent to this earth to live a life free from sin, that suffered, bled and died (was crucified) on the cross. He was then buried and rose again on the third day with all power so that we (every man, woman, boy, and girl) can have the opportunity to be reconciled to God through his son Jesus Christ.
 
When Jesus was on earth – he served (ministered, healed the sick, even raised the dead). God has given us the power through the Holy Spirit to be a vessel for him, serve and do the same thing. God sent his only son Jesus Christ to this world to show us that it can be done – live a life free from sin and serve in the kingdom of God.  Let’s take a trip together through the scriptures and get to know Jesus Christ, our Lord and see the exciting promises that he is just waiting to manifest in our lives!
